Tax Preparation Track

TMG TA Level 1 is a 6 week course designed to help you learn how to accurately prepare federal tax returns. In this course you will learn how to prepare Federal form 1040, and common statements including EITC, ATC, Schedule C and others. 

Classes meet twice per week for 3 hours each session. Students can expect lectures, hands on training, group assignments and homework in each session.

Upon successful completion of the course, students will work under the guidance of The Moon Group for the current tax season. 

TMG TA Bookkeeping Track Level 1 is an interactive 6-week program designed to teach you the basics of bookkeeping so that you can launch your own bookkeeping business and onboard clients within a short 6-week period. Bookkeeping, by definition is, the activity or occupation of keeping records of the financial affairs of a business; however, as a professional, you will become a trusted advisor among your clients.

Classes meet twice per week for 3 hours each session. Students can expect lectures, hands on training, group assignments and homework in each session.  Laptop is required. We train exclusively on QuickBooks Online. We use QBO because it has name recognition in the community, is user friendly for you and the client, and offers you a free account for your own company.

Upon successful completion of the course, students will be able to work as a contractor under the guidance of The Moon Group or launch their own virtual bookkeeping business.
