Dedra R. Moon, BS/MBA (Managing Partner)
Dedra Moon is the Managing Partner of The Moon Group (TMG) Tax and Accounting Solutions, LLC. She is an experienced Accountant with 30 years of experience in the private and public accounting industry combined.
Dedra started TMG, a full service accounting firm, because she possesses a passion for Small Business Owners and desired to relieve the everyday financial stress so they could focus on managing the growth of their business.
TMG serves individuals, families and small-businesses with monthly bookkeeping, monthly accounting, quarterly and annual tax preparation, tax planning, CFO and business advisory services.

Stephen A. Moon (Managing Partner)
After spending 27 years in law enforcement, Steve has joined the family business full time. He manages logistics and keeps the team cracking up with corny Dad jokes.
Fun Fact: He’s a die hard Steelers fan and his love for the team inspired our company colors.
Gloria Woods (General Manager & Tax Professional)
Gloria has been a member of the TMG team since the beginning. She makes sure we run a smooth operation and the client has a great experience. We know you have choices and we are grateful that you chose us.
Fun Fact: She loves a great glass of Red Wine every now and then.
Anita Brooks (Director of Hospitality)
If you’re looking for Anita, you can find her making sure everyone is well fed and well taken care of. She ensures that the team feels the love.
Fun Fact: If the Washington Commanders are playing, she’s watching and cheering for a win.
Felicia C. James (Director of Marketing & Tax Professional)
Felicia is a Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist for a biotechnology company. Beyond her primary role, she thrives as the Director of Marketing and Tax Professional, seamlessly managing our bookkeeping and tax clients, and our brand development.
Fun Fact: She has a deep passion for music, movies, fitness, & kicking back with a venti iced coffee.
Katrina Peele (Director of Outreach & Tax Professional)
Katrina is a public school teacher by day and on weekends and evenings, she fulfills her responsibilities to The Moon Group Tax & Accounting Solutions. Learning about the ever evolving Internal Revenue Code, seeking partnerships for our community outreach campaigns to support youth entrepreneurs and helping people understand their personal tax situations in simple to understand terms is very rewarding.
Fun Fact: She is a tea snob who loves to collect dainty tea cups. Life’s too fabulous to drink tea from a mug.
Latonya Dooley (Tax Professional)
Latonya, part owner of J&K Style Grill is an Air Force veteran of 20 years. As if she isn’t busy enough, she has joined The Moon Group to assist individuals and other small business owners, with organizing financial affairs including those affairs with the Internal Revenue Service.
Fun Fact: Loves to travel and try exotic food. Her passport is always ready for a new stamp.
Maeson Perry (Tax Professional)
Young but mighty, as the youngest professional on the team, Maeson has developed a love for the tax industry and he excels in interpreting complex code to his peers.
Fun Fact: He’s currently saving up to buy a home and eager to become the goto tax professional for young adults.
Michelina Perry (Tax Professional)
One of the creative eyes for the brand, “Mickie” keeps our team looking great in person and in our printed, branded products.
Fun Fact: When she’s not solving a tax or printing problem, she’s a dog mom and a win, lose or draw Phillies fan. Next to her family, the pups and the Phillies have her heart.
Bridgett Copeland (Volunteer Coordinator)
A history buff by nature and a true leader, Bridgett manages our volunteer team with precision.
Fun Fact: When she’s not touring a museum, you can find her in the kitchen. We believe she missed her calling as a chef.
Kendra Darden (Content Strategist)
Her heart lies in being a Mom, traveling and creating memorable experiences from the regular moments to the extraordinary ones.
Fun Fact: She was thissssss close to having a music career in the early 2000s and though that era is now a fond memory, she can still flow.
Malik A. Moon (Military Liaison aka Self-Appointed CEO)
When he’s not serving our country as an OS in the US Navy, he’s working alongside his parents to make sure the military community has a direct connection to a trustworthy firm for their tax and accounting needs.
Fun Fact: He is a music lover from Al Green to Drake and he listens to music on vinyl just as much as he does on Bluetooth devices.
Shayla Tillett (Street Team Coordinator)
When we need to get the word out about a new service or offering, Shayla rallies her team and hits the ground running.
Fun Fact: Shayla is a HGTV and game show lover. She's also a former track runner, which is her favorite Olympic sport.
